Mustafa Ghanim currently works at the Department of Communication Engineering, University of Technology, Iraq (2023). He was born in Iraq in 1990. Received the B. Sc. in Computer Communication Engineering from Al-Rafidain University College, Baghdad, Iraq, in 2012, and the M. Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical, electronics, and communication from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, Malaysia, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. His research activities are related to the field of electromagnetic wave propagation through the atmosphere; physical and statistical modelling for electromagnetic propagation applications (attenuation due to rain, wave depolarization, scintillation, attenuation dynamics, and terrestrial wireless links); analysis of wireless terrestrial 5G links operating in the 10 to 100 GHz range; design and simulation of wireless communication systems implementing fade mitigation techniques (site/time diversity); tropical meteorology; remote sensing; and antenna design using CST microwave software, transparent antenna, and Image processing.
