The tasks and duties of the Legal Affairs Unit in the Department

1. Organizing sponsorships for students studying inside Iraq, and for foreign students who are accepted for undergraduate studies in the Department.

2. Validating the application of laws issued for higher education, scientific research, civil and academic service.

3. Organizing the records and files of the Legal Affairs Unit.

4. Preparing and approving guarantees and undertakings.

5. Participation in the membership of the investigation and disciplinary committees.

6. Following up the contracts concluded between the Department and other entities.

7. Providing legal advice to the Department.
